Over 2 years ago I quoted Percy Buck

An amateur practices until he can do a thing right, a professional until he can’t do it wrong. - Percy Buck 1944

I have learned a lot about streaming. To the point where I can today help others either start streaming or even correct their streaming issues. I have learned about bit-rates and bandwidth. About encoders and mixers. About dynamic and condenser microphones. About "ChromaKeys", capture cards and dual pc setups. And recently I learned how to set up a load balancer and a failover on my home firewall that was able to maintain my internet connection to ensure my stream reliably airs on every single scheduled day.

I have learned all these things for you. I am committed to delivering a high quality stream of companionship and acknowledgment. I am the peer of the misfits and the awkward. Thank you lurkers, mods, VIPs and chatters for frequenting my channel.

Today our setup is as follows (You can totally skip this section if you aren't interested on the technicalities)

####################################################################################################

For graphics: Gaming Console/PC ---> HDMI Switch ---> HDMI Splitter ---> Streaming PC  / Splitter will also send signal to Monitor

For network: Streaming PC ---> Access point ---> Firewall (Load balancing / Failover) ---> ISP ---> Streaming Service (Twitch/Youtube/Mixer)

We are also using a dynamic microphone instead of a condenser. Although condenser has more clarity it also grabs too much ambient noise. That is bad in my case.
I have a baby, a wife, an AC vent and a fan directly on top of me. Not to mention the traffic from the outside of my apartment (cars/neighbors). Those are a lot of sources.
A dynamic microphone will only grab the loudest and most direct sources of sound and ignore everything else. This is what leads to a better clarity and quality.

I just finished firing up our Linux server for hosting our 7d2d server. This of course costs money which leads me to say the following. Although server is free to use for all followers I will give priority access to subscribers. I also reserve the rights to change access rights and to ultimately use the ban hammer.

I am super stocked!!! I have been trying to fire up this server since September hahah *laughs nervously*.

BONUS: Since that project (the Ludarx community 7 days to die server) is up and running I will be able to dedicate more energy on my next project. An IRC based game that you are able to play directly on my stream. I will not give any information about what the game is about. I will tell you this. If you liked stream avatars this is like that but on steroids. Seriously, the concept will blow your mind.

I will see you all later tonight! *mic drop*
